Hmm.  It wasn't that smooth for me.  Feel free to add/remove me from
whimsy PMC to see if the same thing happens.

What I did was manually add a person to committee-info.txt then later go
to Whimsy where they were reported as "Not in LDAP".  Then per John's
suggesting I removed that person from committee-info.txt, refreshed
Whimsy, clicked on that person in the committers list,  hit the Modify
button, added them as PMC and Whimsy gave a "server error 500".  I
refreshed Whimsy and it said that person was "not in committee-info.txt".
I re-added that person to committee-info.txt and refreshed Whimsy and now
things seem ok.  Maybe the server error was an unlucky glitch when Whimsy
was trying to update committee-info.txt?

Also, should this page be updated to just tell folks to use Whimsy?
