Sebb commented on WHIMSY-59: ---------------------------- All the following may grant update karma: membership of LDAP unix group (=> project member attribute) - code updates (SVN) membership of LDAP commitee group (=> project owner attribute) - eg dist/release tree by default membership of LDAP committers group - some PMCs grant access to all I'm not sure it's possible to disable update all access whilst keeping membership of the various groups. I suspect it would be necessary to disable the LDAP account entirely, but that is rather drastic. > Roster tool should allow removing commit bit from PMC members > ------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: WHIMSY-59 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-59 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Roster > Reporter: Craig L Russell > > The roster tool allows the user to manipulate two distinct items: > the committee-info.txt file which lists PMC members > LDAP permissions which controls access to resources > When a PMC member entry is double-clicked, there is an option to "Remove from > PMC". There also should be an option "Remove as Committer". This is for a > specific issue: where a PMC member's icla is lost, we need to block access to > commit, but leave the member on the PMC. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.15#6346)
