Hi all, yet another friendly reminder: Please make sure you follow the correct (see below) process for nominating issues for backports. This process might change later, but for now, please make sure you tag the Jira’s accordingly, so that our release managers have a good chance to know what backports are important to consider for their releases.
Cheers, — Leif and Bryan Current (Jira) process: 1) Commit your fix on master as normal (via Github PR), and resolve the Jira ticket with a fix version of the current master branch (e.g. 7.1.0). 2) Edit the Jira, and add Backport labels as appropriate. For example, to get a commit today into the upcoming 7.0.0 release, you have to add a backport of 7.0.0. 3) Optional: Add a comment on the Jira with a justification why this is an important fix that should be a backport.
