    @maskit Exactly, that's why it hangs the client, because even though there 
is a Content-Length header, the existence of Connection: close short circuits 
the code, such that we don't set resp_content_length. Moving down the check for 
Connection: close addressed this, by allowing resp_content_length to be set if 
there is a CL: header.
