Misc hostdb cleanups While looking into hostdb serialization out to disk, I found a couple things: (1) rr is a very confusing name, and its overloaded-- so a patch for that. (2) hostdb.sync_frequency isn't documented at all-- and its a fairly important configuration option. You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running: $ git pull https://github.com/jacksontj/trafficserver master Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at: https://github.com/apache/trafficserver/pull/507.patch To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch with (at least) the following in the commit message: This closes #507 ---- commit 34ed4333ecfeddd5bf05b28e89b0e056b810d65b Author: Thomas Jackson <jacksontj...@gmail.com> Date: 2016-03-01T03:30:40Z Rename rr to is_rr Since rr is used widely to represent the HostDBRoundRobin structure, using rr as the name for "is rr" is quite confusing. This is a simple name change-- no change in behavior. commit 220095a93fbe357ba5bf1fdae69a86bbacc6b0b0 Author: Thomas Jackson <jacksontj...@gmail.com> Date: 2016-03-01T03:49:44Z Document proxy.config.cache.hostdb.sync_frequency ---- --- If your project is set up for it, you can reply to this email and have your reply appear on GitHub as well.
