This looked pretty done to me, so I marked it "Resolved". you are right about 
the workflow. What should normally happen is that when a fix is committed it is 
marked "Resolved", then the release manager would close it when the 
corresponding release escapes.

I agree with you on this one. The code has changed and the reported assertion 
no longer exists. I marked this as resolved.
