Are there any objects to the proposal as it is right now at https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TS/New+Release+Processes ? If not, we'll move along with this. A quick summary of what this means: 1) SemVer is in place as of right now (http://semver.org). 2) There are no more development releases (only "stable" releases). 3) The next (as in, end of August) stable release will be v4.0.0. 4) Master should be kept stable and compatible within the major versioning. Unless there's some late objections to this, we'll start the work on changing Jira and git to reflect this on Wednesday this week (in prep for v4.0.0 release). Cheers, -- Leif
