Built and tested on Fedora 17 x86_64.  Now running as my forward proxy at home.
David Carlin pushed it to one host in production (RHEL 6.2) and it is doing 
about 5K qps and ~25K connections without any problems.

XXX Mon Jun 4 11:55:23 PDT 2012 - sum are good
XXX Mon Jun 4 11:57:15 PDT 2012 - all built
XXX Mon Jun 4 11:59:13 PDT 2012 - regression passed
