I remmeber a couple of those used for instance in the SSL code, which
I unified to use ... sensible paths, I hope.

If you manage to remove them in a way that our regression test suite
either a) doesn't fail, or b) works even with a different
prefix/layout I wouldn't just be not sad, I'd be very happy!
