Several people have expressed interest in the WCCP work so I thought I would drop an update to the dev list.
I made a major commit today which should clear the way for merging WCCP support to trunk. I have written a replacement for libconfig, sponsored by my company, which I will be releasing on a license suitable for ATS, thereby clearing the legal hurdles. I have written some other support infrastructure which I hope to promote for use in the rest of ATS, using WCCP as a proof of principle. They are Doxygenated but I will (hopefully!) be providing a more general write up in the near future. The remaining hurdles for WCCP are 1) Merging with the large name changes on trunk. 2) Handling QUERY_REMOVAL - it "works" now but primarily by luck. 3) Some code cleanup, I am not entirely pleased with how some of the support libraries and APIs turned out but WCCP has priority. 4) Testing and debugging. I will be on vacation next week which is why I am not merging this to trunk at this time. I will work on that when I return.
