We integrated tika-pipes as the backend for the /tika endpoint.
There are likely users who will be upset with the change in behavior, and they
may be willing to lose "in flight" documents to get the benefits of
multithreading.
We could fairly easily add a "shared server" approach that would aim
pipesClients at a single backend server. The benefit is that we'd be managing
the crashes behind the scenes and the actual /tika server would always be up.
