The bmp exceptions are caused by indeterminism in which image reader is loaded.
If {{com.sun.imageio.plugins.bmp.BMPImageReader}} is loaded, there is no
exception. If {{com.github.jaiimageio.impl.plugins.bmp.BMPImageReader}} is
loaded, there's an exception.
