Adding more precision to the mimetypes makes sense to me. I'd def want
@Gagravarr to weigh in. For some mime types, we use attributes to make the
description more precise, e.g. `text/plain; charset=UTF-8` but for others, we
modify the actual mime type and avoid attributes.
