Originally files had to be uploaded to minotaur, and were then pushed to
www.a.o/dist a few times a day by a cron job.
AFAIK deletes from www.a.o/dist were done once a day (and of course would only
be done when the project removed them from minotaur).
So unless you were unlucky with the timing, the delete from www.a.o/dist would
happen some while after the new files appeared.
With svnpubsub, updates to SVN dist/release should be reflected on www.a.o/dist
immediately (unless pubsub sticks).
I.e. both adds add deletes are immediate.
