The proper list for sending patch is hack...@suckless.org. I haven't taken a look into the patch itself, but I agree with using an array to configure fallback fonts similar to dwm and dmenu. This is something I mentioned in the past [0] and Roberto/k0ga also agreed with it [1], so this shouldn't be a controversial change (I think).
