However, I managed to tweak it such that it now works with dark mode as well by adding the following CSS-rule to the dark mode section in the CSS: #main img[src$=svg] { filter: invert(1); } All <img> within #main that are svg's are inverted in dark mode. Granted it makes use of a filter, which is not supported everywhere, but given prefers-color-scheme is also only supported by modern browsers, this should not be an issue.
