https://st.suckless.org/patches/fix_ime/ Except on the part where st started before IME, maybe I will look into that in the future but that is not critical for me such that I only want to find way to quickly switch between chinese and japanese input as well as for the pre-edit area to be right below the cursor. I personally use fcitx with shuangpin (or mozc) but there is no issues so probably ibus does not have issue as well. Thanks for submitting this issue though. In these specific problems it is very important to describe the problem exactly and with reproducable steps.
