Greetings everyone. After 332 commits and about 9 months of development, the first release of ubase has been announced on http://suckless.org.
We are currently waiting for the distribution tarball to appear on dl.suckless.org, but in the meantime you can grab the tarball from the tagged release in our git repo[0]. The existing ubase tools[1] have some basic functionality implemented but many useful options or other tools are missing. ubase currently has its uses, some people reported using sbase and ubase to build statically linked initramfs images. I am using sbase and ubase in my distro[2]. There is a lot to be done and it is very tedious work but we are getting there. I'd like to thank all the contributors and people on this mailing list for providing useful and constructive feedback.
