You can use xfontsel (interactive) or fslsfonts (non-interactive) to check for iso10646-1 fonts. Once you have a list you may want to try several fonts with xfd to see whether they have the symbols you need. FWIW I just can't believe you don't have dejavu fonts - they appear to be included basicly with every Unix-like system these days. -- Dmitrij D. Czarkoff
