Greetings comrades, there is now a patch in st which implements BCE (Back Color Erase). I hope I did it right. Due to this being a historical hack st is now using to be more compatible to legacy applications is there a good chance some behaviour is not right.
Please try out your terminal applications using BCE and see if st is do‐ ing what is expected. Be careful that the st.info changed, so be sure to install it to the right place (sudo tic ‐s st.info). Sincerely, Christoph Lohmann
