The git source tree is more than four hundred percent bigger than the mercurial source tree. git ships more than 160 *man pages*. It is the emacs of version control. There is no way in hell that hg is not "suckless" compared to git. The fact that it is written in python is unfortunate, but I am positive that writing a mercurial client in C would be infinitely more beneficial than migrating every suckless repository to fucking git.
