Loongson is the chinese mips. They took the license from sgi, it have an 
extended instruction set (mmx like) and some other instructions vary from the 
original specs (in fact they changed their own extension from loongson2e to 
loongson2f).

I have 3 mips boxes at home and each one has its own abi. Maybe a hello world 
works, but not much more.
