| man pages on the web-site where one downloads the software are nice | for the simple reason that they tell us what the software is capable | of doing before we install it.
This is exactly what I've used the online manpages for.
For this, it would be convenient if the manpage was directly linked
from the software's page. I know that I can find the manpages on
suckless.org, but someone new may not notice the general 'man' link at
the top of all of the webpages.
