Yeah, that's true. st's '-c' flag defines the *instance* name, not the class name. Technically, POSIX applications should use the '-name' flag to set this -- see ICCCM 4.1.2.5 [1] -- not '-c', which doesn't really make sense when it isn't setting the class anyway.
