Thanks. I just added a focus manager that just makes sure focus is returned to PointerRoot. It's not absolutely necessary to run, because apps that exit taking focus with them can be fixed with a DISPLAY=:0.0 x-alt-tab and from then on, add x-alt-tab to the end of what spawned that beast. Patrick
