Thinkpads get an orange battery light at 'low' and the light beings to flash at 'critical.' Anyway, just have whatever is updating your statusbar check the battery level, and if it's below 10%, just have it run xmessage with a horrifying message of impending destruction. -- # Kurt H Maier
