Hi, Eitan. Yes, file in your home directory will be used only when wmii starts for your user, so different users can have different wmii configurations. wmiirc in /etc/ will be used when no file found in users home, I suggest. Just copy wmiirc to ~/.wmii-3.5/ and customize it as you want, you always can get default behavior by renaming wmiirc in your home.
