[dev] surf script.js - incompatible with openjdk6?

I've still been unable to implement link hinting in surf.  Numerous searches
of dev archives and internet forums make me believe that it could be some
sort of incompatibility non proprietary java packages.  That doesn't sound
plausible to me, but I can think of no other reason why it wouldn't work.  I
can't even get the script to throw any errors, it is just simply not calling
script.js when I ctrl-f.
