I agree with Stefan that there is little point in switching the test case to our own servers - then we would basically only test internet connectivity (and ASF infra uptime). I've removed the test in r1924046 but kept the ALLOW_REMOTE_HTTP_CONNECTION option for now. Cheers, Daniel
