While replying on users@ [1] I noticed that the 1.9.x Release Notes make no mention of SVN-4722, which affects 1.9.7, and is fixed in 1.9.9+. This is the bug where a delta length being an exact multiple of 16k causes an undeserved "filesystem is corrupt" error during 'svn commit'.
Should this be added to the Known Issues section of the 1.9.x Release Notes? Something like this: [[[ Commit can fail with an undeserved "Filesystem is corrupt" error See issue 4722, "checksum fail during commit when delta is 16K". Under a very specific set of circumstances, a commit may fail with an undeserved "Filesystem is corrupt" error. This bug affects the 1.9.7 release only. A fix for this problem has been included in the 1.9.9 release. ]]] (The line mentioning issue 4722 would have a link to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SVN-4722?issueNumber=4722.)
