That is then the issue - My logical network drive name stayed the same 
(J:\MyDoc\....) but by absolute path changed (\\<server>\... to 
\\<server>.<domain>\....). Wonder why some of the repository survived that then.

Now with a bit more insight - I am probably the cause rather than TortoiseSVN -
