Hi Bert. I see you are fixing lots of WC bugs at the moment. Are you doing some kind of testing that we haven't previously been doing, or working with somebody else who is doing lots of testing? Is there some way we could add regression tests, or comprehensive component testing, which would capture whole classes of bugs of the kinds you are now fixing?
Philip pointed out that you recently added a WC verification tool: tools/dev/wc-ng/svn-wc-db-tester.c and a way of running some verification each time the WC DB is closed: #define VERIFY_ON_CLOSE, http://svn.apache.org/r1660425 What is the status of that? Does it find so many problems that we can't enable in regular debug builds yet? Does it find only a small subset of the issues you're recently looking at? Is there some way we could help? (I'm not volunteering myself, but I'd like it to be known if there is.) - Julian
