For what it's worth I forgot to mention that the script and the instructions are only for trunk/1.8.0. At first it looked like it would work since the Subversion build was just unhappy about neon (which I gave it) and then it didn't know about 2012 in gen-make.py so I told it 2010 and converted the project. But when you try to build it, it ends up with a ton of errors about not being able to open source files. Maybe we should back port the 2012 generator to 1.7.x.
