It's the sort of thing I'd be happy to put in Debian uploads of 1.6 as
a service to users, in the expectation that even if it doesn't make it
into official 1.6, I don't have to carry the patch around forever, as
it'll be in 1.7.

And yeah, I concur that since svnmucc isn't a core tool, bending the
rules wouldn't be so bad.
