More testing: Merges are painful operations today performance-wise, and flex both the update-style editors and parallel file fetching connections. So checkout revision 1 from my remote repository of 100 revisions. Take the cumulative time required to merge r1:10, r10:20, r20:30, r30:40, and r40:50 into that working copy.
Here are the results:
SERF V2 SERF V1
42.02 50.05
45.02 50.04
45.05 49.02
43.01 50.02
43.78 49.78 87.93%
NEON V2 NEON V1
90.03 109.03
90.08 100.08
87.04 92.03
87.02 93.02
88.54 98.54 89.85%
Looks like we see pretty similar improvements across Neon and Serf, HTTPv2
merges taking roughly 90% of the time that they would with v1.
