FYI, that "Subversion in 2010 and Beyond" was a Webinar talking about some of the things coming up in Subversion 1.7 and beyond. It was produced by my employer WANdisco who also sent this summary and link to it. We broadcast it live on Tuesday this week, the four of us doing our technical bits followed by our COO & VP, Product Marketing, describing our Subversion Services, and at the end there was a short session of questions.
You can watch the slides and listen to the audio at the link below or the direct URL <http://www.slideshare.net/wandisco/subversion-in-2010-and-beyond>. It was fun, presenting on line. We all scripted our exact words, a lot of preparation, which paid off when it came to being able to read it smoothly. Hmm, I should announce it here in advance next time we do something like that. It simply did not occur to me to do so. - Julian > http://bit.ly/svn2010slides > > Interesting presentation by Subversion developers Hyrum Wright, Philip > Martin, Julian Foad and Dave Brown. > > Highlights include: > > HTTPv2.0 > This update of the current WebDAV HTTP protocol will boost performance > while preserving the benefits of providing web access to Subversion. > > SVNJ > A rich server-side JAVA API that leverages Subversion's established > code base.
