SPARK-44462 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-44462> looks to be
severe (I've marked it as a blocker) and we should include the fix as long
as we have a fix here - https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/55410

the PR and ensure the fix to be included in 4.3.0.

Szehon/Yicong, I see these are worth addressing. Let's include them. Thanks
