There are several areas in the API interfaces for the new DSV2 rule 
SupportsPushDownVariants <https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/52578> that 
still need improvement, and these changes will not be possible if we release 
the current version in Spark 4.1 as RC2.

Given these issues, we should not release the current API as-is.
