Hi All, I discovered an important regression yesterday, tracked under SPARK-49054 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-49054>. This issue is present in Spark 3.5.2 but does not occur in Spark 3.5.1.
I have created fixes for this regression: - Master: Pull Request #47529 <https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/47529> - Branch-3.5: Pull Request #47538 <https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/47538> Given the severity of the issue, I recommend including these fixes in the upcoming release. Therefore, I am casting a -1 vote on the current release candidate. I apologize for the late vote, as I understand the voting period closed on July 29 at 14:00:00 UTC. I appreciate your understanding and consideration of this important issue.
