The Maven Plugin that aggregates features should have a pluggable mechanism
that is invoked when extensions are handled during merging.
As extensions are lifted out of their original feature into the aggegrated
feature they may need to be transformed to retain context from the original
feature that they were part of.
An pluggable extension mechanism should allow extension implementations to hook
into this transformation.
