Hi, Some time ago we discussed [1] [2] removing the redirect from https://github.com/apache/sling to our old SVN mirror and putting a more user-friendly README in front of that repo.
I think the aggregator could fit that role nicely since it's some sort of central repository we use for checking out all of Sling. And we don't create another Sling GitHub repo :-) . I created a minimal PR [3] that rewrites the README to be user-facing (copy-paste from sling.apache.org). If everyone is in agreement, I can merge it and then ask Infra to rename the repo to 'sling' so we have a better entry point. Comments welcome.
