Carsten Ziegeler commented on SLING-12746: ------------------------------------------ I think we initially did this due to many required dependencies of the quartz bundle which actually were not needed. If this change only requires to install the quartz bundle in addition, then I think its a good idea. If more stuff is needed, we should probably not do it. > Upgrade to Quartz Scheduler 2.5.0 > --------------------------------- > > Key: SLING-12746 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-12746 > Project: Sling > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Commons > Affects Versions: Commons Scheduler 2.7.14 > Reporter: Konrad Windszus > Priority: Major > > Currently we inline quartz in the commons-scheduler bundle. However version > 2.5.0 (https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/org.quartz-scheduler/quartz) > comes with an OSGi manifest. > Also that version does no longer leverage javax namespaces. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
