parent 62 requires java 17+ for running the build, but can produce code
compatiblw with java 8, 11 or higher depending on the sling.java.version
property.
however, SLING-12606 which is merged to master, requires java 17 (that's why i
had assigned this ticket to Resource Resolver 2.0.0 as the next release from
master would be this version).
