Hi all, I am proposing SEP-18 which provides a more generic interface to rewind and fast-forward input offsets. This will allow manipulating offsets not only by specific offsets, but also by timestamp and other position types. Please see the document linked below. The document is evolving as we explore the feature through implementation, so please keep an eye out for changes.
