Some of the snapshot versions in develop are updated after the rc is approved. We have an ant script in releasecandidate.xml that does that.
Having said that, ExternsJS is not listed as a module in the projects pom (framework\projects\pom.xml), so I think this will need to be updated manually. If this project is ready then I think it should be added to that list for the next release. FYI Alina and Maria. It looks like the mvn distribution profile is failing [1] in develop. It might be related to the poms that have not been updated yet, I suggest to revisit that after the release is complete.
