Both are useful tools in my opinion. My analogy is scripting (Ant) versus strongly typed (Maven). See for yourself and enjoy the ride. For building the framework, you can use either Ant or Maven. For applications or external libraries, I’d recommend using Josh’s asconfigc which is used by the VS Code extension. I think it’s easier to use and configure than either ant or maven.
