MXML should have much less overhead in Royale than in Flex. Will it have some overhead? Probably. But as Peter said, we must make sure it continues to work. Unless there are so many TitleBars in apps that it becomes a major factor, I think we should just leave it as is. Feel free to create FasterTitleBarView.as and see how much faster it is. I'd be interested in knowing. It might help our users decide.
