v4.0.3 works on struts 6. From what I can remember the 2.5 to 6 was an easy
upgrade.

the very next point release does already break things.

I would try to stabilize on 2.5.30 first, before going further, since it is
likely that higher jumps will cause more issues due to the fact of having to
bump other linked dependencies at the same time.
