Thanks to all who voted during the 72+ hour window for lazy consensus. This time concept #1 was the winning design with three votes, followed by #3b (two votes) and #2 (one vote).
The following suggestions were made: bigger icons, increase color contrast, increase body text size (roughly 90% of the heading in size), and provide minor color variations to increase readability on small devices. We'll provide new variants based on this feedback, and can bikeshed other adjustments as Dave suggested.
