I still maintain my personal position that the guideline was "open" in either direction as demonstrated by having many PMCs to chose to include affiliations. That it also kinds of open doors to enforcing the guidelines only in certain cases, when it gets spotted, while it should probably trigger a wider discussion to clarify the guidelines and recommendations.
